The Historical Footage section of this Advanced Breaststroke course contains five segments of video footage on the development of the stroke though history. Each segment contains commentary and technical points of interest.
The second section of this Advanced Breaststroke course is a collection of advice from over 35 elite coaches. In this section, you’ll read the three most important breaststroke tips from elite coaches (including but not limited to: Sergio Lopez, Jack Bauerle, Dave Krotiak, David Marsh). Information that normally goes directly to Olympians and World Record holders will be right in front of you!
The third section is a teaching video featuring real age group swimmers doing real breaststroke drills (the way you see them at practice!). This section is practical application of the outstanding information provided from those aforementioned elite coaches.
The last section will allow you to select videos of Advanced Breaststroke clinics filmed on site. Bret Lundgaard of Princeton is our first addition. Coach Lundgaard breaks down the development of Molly Hannis (University of Tennessee) as she became a 2016 US Olympian.
As more ASCA Advanced Breaststroke clinics are filmed, this on-line education course will be updated and footage will be added. You will continue to have access to the most up to date breaststroke technique and training knowledge available! These are some of the most knowledgable breaststroke technicians in the entire world…all just a click away!
ASCA is working now on the same format for Backstroke and Butterfly. We hope you will consider adding this to your coaching “toolbox” today!
