Enhance the person and you enhance the athlete.
Teaching Age Group Developmental Sports Psychology teaches how to coach enhancements to the person (your athletes). The manual is designed with two ends in mind:
- First: teaching a systematic method of preparation for meets that will allow each athlete to perform to their peak on any given day; and
- Second: how to help each athlete “be all that they can become” as a person.
In the manual’s first part, it covers organizing a program for your team, why to teach sports psychology concepts to age group swimmers, and teaching methods. In its second part, the course features developing peak performance skills, first defining it and then addressing different elements of it. In its third part, it covers life skills teaching and development.
