Additional Events

ASCA Level 2 School – $59.00

The Level 2 School is taught by Duffy Dillon, ASCA Level 5 Age Group Coach. Coach Dillon is a Level 5 certified ASCA and USA Swimming coach and instructor. He walked pool decks internationally on every continent for over 25 years. Coach Dillon is equally talented at hosting swimming meets at every level and provides a unique, one-of-kind insight into both the swimmer and the swimmer’s world.

The ASCA Stroke School is about fundamentals. It is about constructing strokes and correcting strokes. When constructing a stroke which fundamentals do we teach first – what is the progression? What are the teaching techniques? When correcting strokes, how do we spot the difficulty and how do we approach it? We will view Olympians and look at the latest trends and techniques but we will spend the majority of the time talking about the young swimmers YOU coach. Tons of video clips… very energetic presentation… you’ll learn things you can put to use the next day. There are no pre-requisites and all coaches are welcome.

The course will be held on Friday morning from 8:00 am-4:00 pm. To register online for this School, please use the following link (ASCA School ONLY, clinic registration separate):

Coaches Social

Come hang out with your fellow coaches and the presenters. On Saturday night after the presentations are complete, we will be having a social for coaches with light appetizers and two tickets for drinks for each coach. Be sure to indicate whether you will be attending as you go through the registration process.

Club Leadership & Business Management School (CLBMS)

On Saturday from 9:30 am-4:00 pm, Tom Avischious will be conducting a CLBMS. This course will be CLBMS 201 and is a companion to the CLBMS 101 online course. Please register and take CLBMS 101 prior to arriving to 201.

USA Swimming offers this unique workshop for club coaches and board members to learn how to be effective in leading and governing their teams. Coaches and board members work together in learning about new strategies to improve their clubs. CLBMS 201 is required for all clubs prior to their second year of registration. However, it is also highly recommended for all existing programs. To register, contact Bill Krumm at or click the link below. There is no charge for this class.
