RecognitionASCA Coach Recognition Programs
Celebrating the incredible work and accomplishments of coaches is a priority for ASCA. The awards and recognition programs below honor a wide array of coaches. Some of the awards below are based on the performances of swimmers (Coach of the Year and Age Group Coach of the Year and Top 100 Teams), while others are earned through nomination from peers and colleagues (Hall of Fame, Impact Coach of the Year). Others allow coaches and teams to earn recognition by reaching milestones or by submitting an application. Click on the links below to learn more about each award and program. ASCA Hall of FameThe American Swimming Coaches Association Hall of Fame recognizes the best coaches in our profession. Inductees, dating back to 1958, have developed the most accomplished athletes in our sport.

100% ASCA Teams Top 100 Age Group TeamsThe clubs that earn this prestigious status each year are determined using the USA Swimming results of top ranked swimmers in the 10&U and 11-12 age groups for the prior Long Course and Short Course season. Swimmers are scored for 1st
through 20th place in individual events only; relays not included.

ASCA Impact Coach of the YearThe American Swimming Coaches Association is proud to announce a new award this year to recognize coaches who have committed extraordinary time and energy to positively impact the lives of others through their dedication, hard work, and service. 30 Under 30 GrantThe future of our sport and our profession depends on bringing along and supporting the next generation of coaches. To help young coaches embark on the educational journey that will make them excellent professional coaches, ASCA has formed the 30 Under 30 program. ASCA member coaches under the age of 30 who have never before been to an ASCA World Clinic are eligible to apply for the ASCA 30 Under 30 World Clinic grant.
