Job Description

Get trained and become proficient at teaching swimmers with sensory and motor challenges how to swim and be safe in near and around the water. Swim Angelfish has been operating for the past 21 years and will help you learn more about diversity, inclusion and swim instruction than you ever though possible. If this sounds interesting than we might want you to join our team. You will gain experience and opportunity to grow both personally and professionally with our company. We are a multi-state organization and nationally recognized center for adaptive aquatics. You will teach private, semi private and small group learn to swim lessons for all ages.

Job Position: Adaptive Swim Instructor- Swim Whisperer

Salary Range: $18 – $22/hour

Job Qualifications:

Qualifications

– Must have reliable transportation

– Must have background in teaching swimming

– Special needs experience a plus but not required

– Background in special education or any experience working with people with disabilities

– Excellent communication skills with co- workers, parents and students a must

– Upbeat personality and flexibility with your teaching style

 

Job Description:

Each swim lesson is individually customized to work on the underlying difficulty and swim obstacle.  This is a fast paced and super fun job with extreme gratification, great team and company to work for.
