  • Hours: Full Time, non-traditional schedule. Requires early mornings, late evenings, including weekends.

Organize and lead a dedicated group of assistant swim coaches and youth swim team to meet their goals. Oversee and maintain our swim club’s good standing with USA Swimming, PNS, and the rest of the Park District. Maintains the team’s Safe Sport certification and USA Swim Club recognition program. Manages the team’s Team Unify site with the help of billing personnel. Work as part of the Aquatic staff to ensure that Park District goals are met. Minimum of 5 years of coaching experience with a leadership role. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with comparable knowledge and abilities. Current CPR, AED and First Aid Certication, USA Swim Coach, Safe Sport and ASCA certifications.
Compensation: Paid staff training, orientation, and discount on most of Park District classes. Participation in the State Retirement Program, health benefits, long-term disability, and life insurance. Vacation and Sick leave accrual. 40 hours Administrative leave and 16 hours paid time o, in addition to holidays annually. 12 step salary scale starting at $51,996 up to $79,892. Starting wage DOE and certifications.
